According to information received from the Polish side, local farmers are planning to go on strike at checkpoints on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
Dorohusk – Yagodyn checkpoint
Polish customs officers reported that the blocking of the Dorohusk-Yagodyn checkpoint is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Kyiv time on February 9, using agricultural machinery. Local authorities have approved the protest until March 9, 2024.
The protesters plan to allow buses and one truck in each direction for an hour. Humanitarian aid and fuel tanks will also be allowed to enter Ukraine unimpeded.
Medyka – Shehyni checkpoint
On February 9, at 9:00 a.m., a protest is planned in front of the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint.
Buses and private vehicles will be allowed to cross as usual.
Khrebenne – Rava-Ruska checkpoint
On February 9, at 11:00 am Kyiv time, Polish farmers plan to start blocking the Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne checkpoint in both directions.
Buses and private cars will be allowed to cross as usual.
Dolhobychuv – Uhryniv checkpoint
Starting from February 12, at approximately 10:00 a.m. Kyiv time, the passage of trucks will be slowed down (approximately 3-4 trucks per hour).
Buses and passenger cars will be allowed to cross as usual.
Zosyn – Ustyluh checkpoint
According to preliminary information from the Polish side, the strike of local farmers will also extend to the Zosyn-Ustyluh checkpoint on the Polish side of the border. On Monday, February 12, traffic is expected to be partially restricted. Trucks weighing up to 7.5 tons will be allowed to cross at a rate of three vehicles per hour.
Buses and private cars will be allowed to cross as usual.
