Due to the border blockade from the Polish side and the accumulation of trucks leaving Ukraine, along with issues in the “Electronic Queue for Crossing the Border” system, there has been an increase in cases of delivery delays exceeding the term specified in Article 95 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
‼️ We remind carriers, declarants, or their authorized representatives of the procedure for controlling the movement of goods and commercial vehicles under customs control, as established by the Procedure for Customs Formalities during Transit Movements, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dated October 9, 2012, No. 1066.
If a commercial vehicle transporting goods cannot reach the destination customs office within the specified period due to an accident or force majeure circumstances, the time of these circumstances is not included in the transit transportation period, provided they are documented and the nearest customs authority is promptly informed (before the end of the specified period) in writing about the circumstances of the event, the location of the goods, the commercial vehicle, and the TIR Carnet number (usually the customs declaration for the goods being transported by this vehicle).
? Such written notifications should include information about the reasons for the cargo delay, the registration number of the commercial vehicle transporting the goods under customs control, the driver’s full name, passport series and number, and the TIR Carnet number.

When exporting goods from Ukraine, for prompt processing of matters related to changing the destination customs office, replacing the driver/truck, or reloading goods onto another vehicle (if such reloading occurs without breaking customs seals), it is necessary to contact the email address of the customs post through which the actual transportation of the vehicle beyond the customs territory of Ukraine will take place.
